Simulations task list

Here the list of the optical simulations which can be useful to understand Advanced Virgo. It is a wiki, so everyone is free to modify/add the content if it feels pertinent.

Possible template for the task:

• Motivation (what to look at, linked to a previous measurement ?)
• How to do it (what to tune, interferometer conditions)
• Person to contact for more informations
• Where the results are written (could be in the logbook, TDS, attached file)

Simplified model for thermal lensing, for 14W of input power:

• Change of RoC IM/EM: +5 m (estimation)
• Focal length of the IM thermal lens: ~ 100 km (see VIR-0244A-17)
