MacOs_Monterey_Printing_Issues

Mac Os X 12.2.1 is affected by Printing issues due to Microsoft NighmarePrinting Vulnerability.

Apple declared that it will be fixed with 12.3 update and the meanwhile the only workaround working consist of :

1. remove the old printer
2. create a new file nsmb.conf in ~/Library/Preferences with this content:

   • [default]

     protocol_vers_map=6

3. add again the printer and Change device URIs from "smb://printserver/print_queue"

   to

   smb://printserver/print_queue?encryption=no
